Organiza-tions of all sizes realize at some point that they need to address their strate-gic/operational & analytical reporting mess. The path to this moment of reckon-ing is most times unpleasant & could be due to one or more of the following reasons:· External regulators questioning reports' accuracy due to factual omissions / errors· Executive leadership not confident in the top of the house reporting rollup metrics· Analytical reports are not reli-able· Business Operations team main-tain their shadow IT teams to infuse additional data/aggregate points local-ly outside of the reporting ecosystem be-fore republishing reports· Too many Excel and Access databases circulat-ing across the enterprise as reports · Too many reports in the inventory with many outdated yet actively used· Multiple BI tools delivering similar but not rec-onciling metrics / measures· Platform not able to scale to mature market trends i.e. Analytics, AI/ML capabilitiesThe list goes on and on.
