From digital transactions to faster 5G deployments and internet access itself, the country is having a real blast in this tech-ade. The government has a set target of connecting all Indians to the internet by 2025, largely through broadband of Bharat Net. Further simplifying cyber-law for ease of doing business and focusing on high technology like Quantum Computing and Artificial intelligence are also on the agenda.On the other hand, India has already said hello to 5G, thanks to Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio. After last month's launch, Airtel 5G services are now available only in eight cities in India: Delhi, Nagpur, Varanasi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. The telecom giant has announced that it will cover the entire country by March 2024. Jio has launched its 5G services in four cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi. The company is expected to expand its 5G services across the country by December 2023. It's no wonder that networking solutions providers are having a field day. In fact, this favorable milieu is poised to become more favorable in the near future. According to a report by insights and consulting company Kantar, India will have over 900 million internet users by 2025, driving more than 500 million digital transactions. The report also predicts that more than 87 percent of Indian households will have at least one internet user by 2025. It is beyond any reasonable doubt that internet solutions providers have fantastic days ahead of them.
