Mamaearth's Chief Product and Technology Officer Jayant Chauhan Resigns

According to reports, Jayant Chauhan, chief product and technology officer of Mamaearth-parent Honasa Consumer has resigned from his position.

"Due to personal reasons, I would like to tender my resignation from the post of chief product and technology officer of the company. My last working day with the organization would be 30th November 2024," Jayant wrote in his resignation letter to Honasa Consumer's founder and CEO Varun Alagh.

Jayant has been with the beauty and Personal Care Company since November 2020 and was previously Chief Product Officer at Policybazaar before Policybazaar, Jayant worked at Paytm, Airtel and Zomato.

A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Jayant is responsible for overall product strategy and engineering. He leads the product development and infrastructure teams at the Gurugram-based company.

Honasa Consumer's share price closed 0.9 percent higher at Rs. 428.90 on the BSE. Chauhan's resignation was announced after the close of market trading.

In August, Abhishekk Raj Pandey, Honasa Consumer's senior vice president and head of procurement, purchasing, and manufacturing, left the company to join salon management software company Zalon as a co-founder

In addition to Jayant and co-founders Varun and Ghazal Alag, Honasa Consumer Inc. also has Raman Preet Sohi, chief financial officer; Zailas Master, chief business officer; Anuja Mishra, chief marketing officer; and Danraj Dagar, company secretary, as senior management the company has designated them as.

Honasa Consumer's April-June operating revenue raised 19 percent y/y to Rs. 55.4 billion. Net income increased 62 percent y/y to Rs. 40 crore.
