Apple Introduces a New Self-Paced Learning Platform
Apple Inc introduces a new-self paced learning offering, Apple Teacher Portfolio, which enables educators to bring in creativity to every lesson and subject, regardless of the place where learning takes place.
The portfolio is a free offering that helps educators access the best of Apple’s technology through each phase of their lesson planning, plus students get to activate prior knowledge, deep topic exploration and to apply their understanding as well.
Using apps like Keynote, GarageBand, and iMovie, educators can improve their work with engaging daily lessons for students using 21 models and lesson ideas inspired by the Anyone Can Create project guides.
The portfolio compiles every educator’s most creative and engaging lessons and prepares a body of work that is ready to be shared with leadership and peers.
Apple Teacher Portfolio gives districts a platform to ask the right questions and help teachers reflect on their work in meaningful ways”, says Felecity Treptow, Technology Integration Specialist, D.C Everest Area School District, Wisconsin.
“For more than 40 years, Apple has worked alongside educators and made products that enhance learning for every student”, said Susan Prescott, Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations and Product Marketing for Enterprise and Education, Apple.
