Calculus Group Inks Rs 1000 Crore MoU with HRDS

According to reports, Calculus Group, a global technology solutions provider, has signed a Rs 1000 crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HRDS (Highrange Rural Development Society) India to drive AI-powered rural development projects.

This initiative aims to empower over 7 crore families across rural India by integrating cutting-edge technology into key infrastructure and social welfare programs.

"This is more than a MoU. This is a movement," says Sooraj Vasudevan, Founder and CEO of Calculus Group.

According to the agreement, Calculus Group will deploy AI-driven solutions in HRDS India's initiatives for rural development. The firm, recognized for its AI-enhanced sanitary products aimed at rural areas, will also aid in housing development to improve living standards for marginalized communities.

"Collaborating with HRDS INDIA enables us to make significant progress in changing the lives of millions," sys Sooraj.

This partnership will roll out AI-enhanced sanitation, IoT-connected infrastructure, and sustainable digital ecosystems, establishing a new standard for technology-led rural transformation.

IoT is being utilized across various aspects of everyday life to enhance intelligence and efficiency. In smart homes, devices such as smart lighting, thermostats, and security cameras can be managed via smartphones.

In the healthcare sector, wearable health monitors and remote tracking systems assist in real-time health condition management.
