Capgemini Appoints Nive Bhagat as Group CFO

French IT services and consulting firm Capgemini has appoints Nivedita (Nive) Bhagat as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Group Management Team effective January 1, 2024.

Bhagat, who is of Indian origin, succeeds Carole Ferrand, who has been CFO since 2024. 2018 and plans to pursue other career opportunities. Ferrand supports the transfer to Bhagat until the end of the year.

Capgemini group CEO Aiman Ezzat says, “I am delighted to appoint Nive, whose career before joining Capgemini and over the past 13 years with the group has given her extensive and valuable experience in our industry. She is a trusted and excellent leader whose appointment is supported by the Capgemini Board.”

Nivedita says, “It is a privilege to be named CFO of Capgemini. I look forward to leading an award-winning team to enable Capgemini's growth, margin expansion and financial discipline.”

Before joining Capgemini, Nive spent nearly 12 years at Infosys Technologies as Head of Enterprise Solutions in Europe. She also worked at KPMG in Corporate Finance

Since 2019, Nive has served as CEO of Capgemini's Cloud and Infrastructure Services business unit. It is a global business unit with more than 30,000 team members. She was also appointed as a member of the group's management team.

Between 2010 and 2015, Nive held a number of roles at Capgemini, including CMO with full responsibility for all sectors and Private Sector Head of the UK Apps business. She was also a member of the UK County Council from 2016.

Before joining Capgemini, Nive spent nearly 12 years at Infosys Technologies as Head of Enterprise Solutions in Europe. She also worked at KPMG in Corporate Finance.
