HCLTech Acquires Paris Based Software Company Zeenea SAS

According to reports, HCLTech has completed the acquisition of Paris based software company, Zeenea SAS. The acquisition valued Zeenea at $ 26.5 million (23.9 million euros).

In the first half of the current fiscal year, the corporation made two acquisitions. This is the second one. The IT giant declared its intention to pay $225 million, or around Rs1,874 crore, for a portion of Hewlett Packard Enterprise's (HPE) Communications Technology Group (CTG) assets three months prior, in May.

In August 2024, HCLTech made known that it intended to purchase Zeenea. Zeenea specializes in governance and data catalog solutions. With this acquisition, HCL hopes to grow its Actian data and analytics company.

Approximately ten percent of HCLTech's overall income comes from HCL Software. In the first quarter of the current fiscal year, the software segment's margins were even the highest at 20.5 percent. HCL Software, Engineering and Research and Development, and IT and Business Services are the company's three business segments.

HCLSoftware was recently chosen by State Bank of India to automate its digital marketing initiative. According to the company, the bank will implement the HCL Unica martech platform to modernize its framework for customer interactions and provide highly customized customer experiences while protecting client privacy.
