Infosys Partners with Spark New Zealand

Indian IT giant Infosys declares collaboration with Spark New Zealand, a telecommunications and digital services firm, to facilitate digital transformation and lower operational expenses for Spark.

The collaboration will utilize Infosys' AI-first solutions, such as Infosys Topaz and Infosys Cobalt, to improve Spark's technology delivery framework and lower IT operational expenses.

Infosys will offer enhanced DevOps and software engineering skills to develop, test, integrate, and maintain Spark's systems and applications.

Matt Bain, Data and Marketing Director at Spark, emphasized the company's long-standing 16-year relationship with Infosys and stressed that this ongoing partnership will enable Spark to concentrate on its technology strategy while utilizing Infosys' global reach and AI advancements.

"We are now building on this relationship to allow our teams to focus on our technology strategy and the product roadmaps that will grow our competitive advantage while leveraging Infosys' global scale to execute these plans quickly and efficiently, and accessing Infosys' investment in AI and innovation to enable us to keep delivering great experiences for our customers," says Matt Bain.

Spark will retain control over its IT architecture, product design, and innovation roadmap.

As part of the agreement, Infosys will also enhance its local workforce to complement its global operations and ensure that critical local support and expertise are retained in New Zealand.
