Travel booking app Ixigo extended its exclusive collaboration with PhonePe to include bus and aircraft reservations on the fintech company's app, along with the provision of train reservation services.

Through this partnership, millions of users will be enabled a better travel booking experience as flight and bus booking services are integrated into the PhonePe app.

Ixigo will exclusively power these travel booking choices on PhonePe as part of the relationship, merging services from Ixigo flights for booking flights, AbhiBus for booking buses, and expanding its previous cooperation with ConfirmTkt for booking train reservations, the company said.

PhonePe users will be able to conveniently book buses and flights using the app, taking use of Ixigo's vast network and technological prowess.

They will be able to choose from a large number of bus operators in India as well as a wide range of airline alternatives, covering both domestic and international routes.
