Leading provider of HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) solutions, Lennox is on its way to invest $6 million to develop its Global Capability Center (GCC) in Chennai.

The facility is claimed to be about 150,000 square feet in size, and is considered to accommodate 1,500 employees, significantly higher than the previously thought 900.

Modern amenities are made available at Chennai's extended GCC, which is believed to support Lennox's worldwide HVACR activities.

“Chennai’s skilled workforce and dynamic business ecosystem align perfectly with our mission to drive technological advancements and deliver next-generation HVACR solutions”, added Prakash.

In a bid to improve teamwork, creativity, and worker well-being, the new office is said to include larger Controls & IT laboratories, modern collaborative workstations, a gym, a play area, privacy pods, recharge rooms, a mother care room, and training rooms.

Since its founding in 2010, the Chennai GCC has become a vital strategic location for Lennox, drawing top engineers and IT experts.

Its support for finance, marketing communications, human resources, legal, customer experience, and sourcing has broadened its position in international operations over time, going beyond technology.

Lennox's growth scales all of its essential operations and fortifies its worldwide operations.

Additionally, the investment supports Tamil Nadu's business-friendly policies by utilizing the infrastructure and skill pool of the state to spur innovation.
