Microsoft to Integrate Copilot Across All Devices Including Bing
The chairman and CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, announced that the global software and device behemoth Microsoft will integrate its ‘Copilot’ across all of its services, including its search engine Bing.
Microsoft stated that the solution will function as an app or be made available to users by right-clicking. It will be offered as upgrades for well-known applications like Paint, Photos, and Clipchamp. In other items, the new DALL-E 3 model from OpenAI will use the Bing search engine, and Microsoft 365 Copilot will incorporate a chat assistant for business applications.
Nadella stated that the introduction of Copilot, which was first announced in March of this year, would radically alter personal computing by allowing users to communicate more freely with their gadgets in their "natural language."
One of the tech giant's bet is Microsoft 365 Copilot, which is meant to help consumers and businesses with monotonous chores like creating documents, summarizing information, and making presentations. The solution, which utilizes Microsoft's classic programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, costs $30 a month for each user in addition to the subscription fee for using Microsoft 365 apps.
“We are entering a new era of AI, one that is fundamentally changing how we relate to and benefit from technology,” Microsoft stated in the announcement. An early version of Copilot will be available as a free Windows 11 update starting Sept. 26 and across Bing, Edge and Microsoft 365 later this year, said the company.
In addition to the changes for Copilot, the most recent Windows update will include 150 new capabilities, the majority of which will make use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the functionality of programs and services including Microsoft Paint, Photos, and the snipping tool, he added.
“It will work as an app or reveal itself when you need it with a right click. We will continue to add capabilities and connections to Copilot across to our most-used applications over time in service of our vision to have one experience that works across your whole life,” Mehdi said.

The company also unveiled the most recent iterations of its hardware products, Surface Hub 3 and Surface Laptop Studio 2. Pre-orders for each of these items begin on Thursday.
