Nvidia plans to Invest Hundreds of Billions of Dollars in Manufacturing Chips

According to reports, Nvidia's CEO stated that it plans to invest hundreds of billions of dollars in manufacturing chips and other electronics in the US over the next four years, shifting its supply chain away from Asia due to Donald Trump's tariff threats.
This substantial spending forecast from the leading semiconductor company follows similar multibillion-dollar investment announcements from other tech giants like Apple, as the effects of Trump's 'America First' trade policies influence the global economy.
“We expect to acquire around half a trillion dollars' worth of electronics over the next four years. We can see ourselves producing several hundred billion of that in the US with ease,” says Jensen Huang, Nvidia’s CEO and co-founder.
The top AI chip manufacturer was now capable of producing its latest systems in the US through partners such as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and Foxconn, and he pointed to increasing competitive pressure from Huawei in China.
Jensen introduced the next iteration of its AI chip, Vera Rubin, outlining his vision for constructing networks of millions of interconnected chips within massive data centers requiring significant power supply.
