
Ola Electric Offers Same-Day Registration and Delivery

Ola Electric, a manufacturer of electric two-wheelers, announces 'HyperDelivery', which enables same-day registration and delivery for its vehicles.
Ola Electric announced in a stock exchange filing that it has launched the pilot program in Bengaluru and intends to gradually expand it across India this quarter.
The company states, ‘Customers can now finalize the process online or at an Ola Electric Store and drive home on their fully registered vehicles within hours.
Ola Electric's stock ended almost unchanged at Rs 54.06 each on the BSE on April 3.
The firm indicated that this pioneering initiative in the industry was made possible by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) for automation and bringing vehicle registration operations in-house.
By incorporating these essential steps into its processes, the company has facilitated a much more seamless and efficient transition from selection to delivery, thus improving customer experience.
The announcement arrives as the company encounters regulatory examination. The ministries of heavy industries and road transport have looked into inconsistencies in vehicle registrations and media claims regarding non-adherence to trade certificate regulations.
According to the company's latest update, 40 percent of the backlog from February has been resolved, and full completion is anticipated by the end of March 2025
The electric vehicle producer stated that the backlog was not caused by internal operational issues and is being addressed gradually. It observed that daily sign-ups had surpassed 50 percent of its average daily sales from the last three months.
