One of the biggest names in India's EV market, Ola Electric, has revealed its most ambitious aim to date: opening 4,000 outlets across the country by December 25, 2024.

To guarantee a presence in every Indian city, village, and rural area, the company has expanded its network of stores to include approximately 3,200 new locations. As a result of this enormous development, Ola Electric will become the nation's biggest EV distributor.

Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ola Electric says, “Inaugurating record-breaking 4,000 Ola Electric stores on Christmas 25th December! Savings Wala Scooter will now be accessible to every city, town, and tehsil! Be a part of the electric revolution at a store near you. This bold move reflects Ola’s commitment to making EVs accessible to all.”

On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Ola Electric's shares jumped 6.85 percent to Rs 93.41 after the announcement, indicating strong market confidence in the company's growth trajectory.

Co-located service facilities will be incorporated into the new locations to improve after-sales and customer support. Ola Electric's direct-to-consumer (D2C) business strategy, which is a major contributor to its ongoing market dominance, is in line with this evolution.

The scooters support the company's goal of democratizing electric mobility with features including robust builds, detachable batteries, and customizable user preferences

Despite India's rapid transition to electric mobility, Ola Electric's extensive network development will be a turning point in the nation's #EndICEAge quest. Beyond tier-I and tier-2 cities, we will reach every part of the nation with our extensive D2C network and the touchpoints under our Network Partner Program.

Ola Electric has launched a number of new scooters, including the Ola Gig, Gig+, S1 Z, and S1 Z+, to go along with the growth of its network. These versions, which start at Rs. 39,999, are made to accommodate the various demands of consumers in rural, semi-rural, and metropolitan areas.

The scooters support the company's goal of democratizing electric mobility with features including robust builds, detachable batteries, and customizable user preferences. Bookings for these scooters are already being accepted, and deliveries are scheduled to start in April and May 2025.
