Ram Mandir Blossoms A New Dawn for Ayodhya Evoking History in the Making
With the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Mandir approaching, the holy city of Ayodhya is all set for a history in the marking, welcoming devotees from India and around the world to be part of this auspicious occasion.
The temple town of Ayodhya will host the much awaited Ram Mandir consecration ceremony (Pran Prathishtha). From 1858, the year when the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is scheduled to be dedicated, to the year that the first documented claim to the birthplace of Lord Ram was made.
Sanskrit scholars and pandits will execute the much-awaited Pran Pratistha of Ram Lalla ceremony, and Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, will be there alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mark the occasion. Saints from all over India are also invited to participate in this auspicious event.
Today, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar declared that January 22nd will go down in history as a pivotal day in India's "tryst with divinity" and its trajectory toward civilization.
As he prepared to lead the holy rites of the consecration ceremony of "Ram Lalla" in Ayodhya in front of other "yajmans" and saints, he also sent greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At the time of Aarti at Ram Janmabhoomi temple on Pran Pratishtha day, thirty artists will perform on various Indian musical instruments on the temple premises, while army helicopters will drop flowers on Ayodhya, according to temple authorities. Additionally, according to temple officials, each visitor will get a bell, which they will ring during the Aarti.
The Center has granted half a day off to all government employees, including those employed by Public Sector Banks, in honor of the anniversary.
Prior to the event, Indian Americans sang the Ram Bhajan at the Hindu Temple of Minnesota.
In the meantime, the Indian diaspora and Overseas Friends of Ram Mandir collaborated with Ram Janmabhoomi Sthapna Samiti in Trinidad and Tobago to organize festivities.
