Sify Technologies Appoints CR Srinivasan as the CEO of Sify Digital Services Limited

According to reports, Digital ICT solutions provider Sify Technologies appoints CR Srinivasan as the chief executive officer of its subsidiary Sify Digital Services Limited.

Prior to that, he led the cloud and cybersecurity business at Tata Communications. His career spans more than 30 years in global telecommunications, IT, cybersecurity and digital services.

Srinivasan is an experienced technologist and business leader, has an established track record in large, startup, and platform-based businesses.

“Srini is well versed in the transformation that the ecosystem has undergone. His experience in building digital services across the ICT ecosystem will be valuable in steering Sify Digital Services in a new direction,” says Raju Vegesna, chairman, Sify Technologies.

Vegesna added that Srinivasan would be responsible for building the business both in India and into new territories.

Srinivasan previously co-founded Sevenstrata IT Services, a remote infrastructure management company that was acquired by Mindtree. He was also part of the initial team that established Sify's Network Services and developed its managed services capabilities.

Srinivasan has successfully transformed and rapidly expanded its business by leveraging technology to enhance the customer experience, developing unique business models, and building platforms and services focused on the right technology, according to reports.

“I will look to realize Sify’s untapped potential in digital services and contribute to making Sify a truly converged ICT ecosystem leader,” says Srinivasan.

Sify’s Rabale hyperscale data center campus is designed for up to 240+ MW IT capacity and 32000+ racks. The expandable mega campus, located at Navi Mumbai, is designed for 12 towers of which five are currently operational. Sify’s Rabale campus also offers customers built-to-suit (BTS) options to customize and design a data center facility to meet their specific needs.
