Uber to Bring Back Uber Black
Uber is bringing back Uber Black, aiming to promote luxury experiences in India at a time of significant spending for premium experiences.
The ride-hailing platform is only a week shy from commencing the service, which it plans to roll out in a few select Mumbai neighborhoods.
Started operating since 2013, Uber offered Uber Black with C-suite vehicles like Mercedes, BMW, and Audi.
Soon, other premium vehicles including the Toyota Innova, Honda City, and Toyota Corolla took its place, leaving Uber to discontinue offering Uber Black in 2014.

Reports indicate that Uber Black's upcoming version in India could be using a superior sustainable model, different from that of the company’s existing fleet of business sedans.
Additionally, reports say that Uber is looking to service all customer segments by introducing products for both ends of the spectrum.
Besides that, Uber Premier, the premium product on the platform now, is expected to cost 30–40 percent less than Uber Black.
