Led by Mount Judi Ventures and current backer Capria Ventures, Wify, a technology-enabled platform for home remodeling and construction, garnered Rs 25 crore in a fundraising event.

The event saw the participation of Blume Founders Fund and other investors as well.

Based in Mumbai, the company is known to have raised $2 million in July 2022 at its most recent seed round.

The company plans to use the latest funds into capacity building, software, and technology advancements, as well as for expanding into new markets and providing more value-added services and penetration into current ones.

Additionally, the on-site installation and post-purchase services provider is expected to allocate the funds into its market expansion plans.

“This funding will help accelerate our growth through technology deployment and inorganic growth opportunities. It will help realize our vision of becoming the No. 1 brand for upgradation, repair, and maintenance of urban homes,” said Vikram Sharma, chief executive, Wify.

Established in 2019, Sharma and Deepanshu Goel laid the foundation with an aim to provide businesses and brands with on-site installation and post-purchase services.

Commenting on the investment, Ebaad Momin, partner at Mount Judi Ventures, said, "Wify’s full-stack B2B2C solution has gained significant traction in the home improvement and maintenance space as it effectively addresses a critical market need”.

Wify is in pursuit to improve customer service, offer on-the-job assistance, and train and onboard employees using generative AI.

The company plans to use the latest funds into capacity building, software, and technology advancements, as well as for expanding into new markets and providing more value-added services and penetration into current ones.

Currently, the company operates a network of 3,000 technicians across 100 Indian cities. It has collaborated with more than 100 national and international brands, such as Hettich, Godrej, Amazon, and IKEA.

“As early investors in Wify, we've witnessed the company emerge as the No. 1 after-sales installation and SaaS solutions provider in the furniture and fittings industry. We are confident about the team's ability to ‘own the home’ by expanding into other use-cases like smart homes, appliances, plumbing, etc,” said Surya Mantha, managing partner, Capria Ventures.

In July 2022, Blume Founders Fund and Unitus Ventures led a $2 million fundraising round for Wify.
