Wipro Hydraulics Acquires Columbus Hydraulics
Wipro Hydraulics, the hydraulic cylinder manufacturing division of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (WIN), announces the acquisition of US competitor Columbus Hydraulics, marking its second acquisition in as many months.
According to reports, the acquisition is intended to improve production capacity in North America. The acquisition's cost was kept a secret.

This acquisition complements our product and customer portfolio, allowing us to offer a broader range of hydraulic solutions for varied applications. Our combined skilled workforce will enable us to innovate for the current and future needs of our customers.”
This acquisition marks WIN's thirteenth acquisition overall and its sixth within the hydraulics division. This is Wipro Enterprises' 29th acquisition.
Supported by billionaire Azim Premji's Wipro group, Wipro Enterprises' unlisted industrial engineering division, WIN, generates $1.9 billion in revenue annually compared to Wipro Ltd.'s $11.2 billion.
