India took one step closer to realizing its electrification dream when it launched the PM Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement (PM E-DRIVE) scheme, which promises to promote electric mobility, while reducing dependence on fossil fuels. In commemoration of the milestones achieved so far, the Indian Auto Expo 2025 once again gave a glimpse into the electric mobility future, representing the way we drive, commute and connect. The show also educates auto enthusiasts about the latest EV industry trends, promising a better, greener, smarter and responsible tomorrow.

MG Cyberster EV
The MG Cyberster EV is JSW MG Motor India’s first electric vehicle, which debuted in India at the Expo this year. A little about the car’s specifications is that it has a chrome MG emblem and LED projector headlights with LED DRLs up front. The bumper is fitted with a black lower grille with working air vents to cool off the battery pack and electrical components. It takes a sporty and aggressive look with sharp cuts and creases, with the scissor doors being the cherry on top overall. The vehicle is supported by dual-tone alloy wheels up to 20 inches in diameter. Turn indicators are built into the black outside rear-view mirrors.

Innovation Within

The new MG Cyberster will take you into the future with its tri-screen dashboard that includes a 7-inch touchscreen entertainment system and two screens for the driver's display (a 7-inch and a 10.25-inch one). As for comfort, it has AC controls, an 8-speaker Bose music system, 6-way electrically adjustable heated seats with a memory function, and an automatic and foldable roof. Skoda Vision 7S Concept

In early 2022, Skoda not only gave us a preview of its electric future with the Vision 7S Concept but also showed a change in its design ethos. The latest Vision 7S Concept, unveiled at the Expo, introduces us to Skoda's electrified design language to the Indian market.

This battery packs a fast-charging capacity of up to 200 kW, which can be recharged from 10 to 80 percent in around 30 minutes.

This car gives an idea of Skoda’s work in upcoming EVs, particularly hinting about the unique exterior that seemingly appears different from Skoda’s usual designs.

Innovation Within
The Vision 7S Concept displays a panoramic glass roof that elevates the sense of more spaciousness and elegance, ambient lighting, and electrically adjustable seats for the front and middle rows. Inside the car, there is a 14.6-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch digital driver's display, which serve as the focal point, ensuring the driver has a smooth interface. More in terms of innovation, the car has added several wireless phone chargers and an augmented reality (AR) heads-up display.

This car’s concept competes in the EV market with its 89 kWh battery pack and WLTP-rated range of up to 600 km. This battery packs a fast-charging capacity of up to 200 kW, which can be recharged from 10 to 80 percent in around 30 minutes. Through this car, Skoda has once again stayed true to its commitment to performance, convenience, and, of course, design and comfort.
