In today's digital world, organizations no longer need a physical presence to operate. Especially after the pandemic, organizations across the globe have redesigned their processes while gradually adopting the hybrid work model. To help organizations achieve digital transformation, Google has introduced Google Workspace, a productivity and collaboration tool to help businesses boost their digital presence.

The growing demand for the tool has been helping Google Workspace Partners in India experience tremendous growth over the years. Among the vast numbers of Google Workspace Partners across the country, one firm that stands out from the rest in terms of market expertise and customer service is L-Saru's Communication. Starting in 2020, under the leadership of its Director Sarika Kolte, the firm has been experiencing rapid growth while gradually expanding its operations across the country.

In an exclusive interview with CIO Insider, Sarika sheds light on the inception journey of the firm, the future roadmap, and much more:

Tell us about the inception story of L-Saru's Communication.

Before starting L-Saru's Com-munication, I had over eight years of industry experience working in Google Workspace & related products. We started this firm to help businesses grow through digital transformation. There are so many organizations that don't have any digital platform. Often, you find people mentioning their private email IDs instead of the professional ones in their visiting cards. While sending emails to their clients, organizations must send them from email IDs with domain names

resembling their organization name. This ensures the validity or authenticity of the emails. After deciding to start the firm, I applied and got approval for Google Cloud Partner.

Currently, Google has stopped giving direct reseller ship, making Businesses go through distributors to achieve the same. However, we deal directly with Google. Our business offerings include all services related to Google Workspace products, such as emails, education fundamentals, teaching and learning upgrade, and many more. Recently, we also received authorization to sell Chromebooks.

What makes L-Saru's Communication stand out is the excellent customer support the firm provides to its clients.


What are the value additions that clients can expect from your offerings?

What makes us stand out is the excellent customer support we provide to our clients. We take customer issues pretty seriously. While customers of other organizations usually wait for hours to get their issues resolved, we try to resolve customer queries as soon as possible. In case of a query or any issues, customers can always contact us by phone or email and expect a prompt response. Coming to another major USP, while other firms charge customers for technical support, we always provide all the technical support to our customers free of cost, which sets us apart from the competition.

Tell us about a recent challenging case study reflecting the success of the company’s offerings that were deployed to draw positive outcomes.

One of our clients, AECS Mumbai, a Mumbai-based school, was trying to get a subscription to Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals. They wanted to start online classes for their students during the pandemic when schools were shut down due to lockdown restrictions. Google provides the Education Fundamentals subscription free of cost to selective educational institutes. However, the school was not getting approval from Google after

multiple applications for two years. So, the management contacted us to help them resolve this issue. While the subscription itself is free of cost, the Google partners charge some amount for deployment and setup.

As Google had some criteria to provide approval for educational institutions, we had to try extremely hard to get the approval. Being a government entity required the school to verify its domain address.

However, the school management didn't have the domain address or hosting credentials handy. There were multiple challenges in getting the domain verification done for the school, which took around four to five days. Finally, Google initiated the subscription process and even got it approved after around 15 days. For the whole effort, we didn't charge a single penny from the client.

Briefly tell us about the workforce of the company responsible for its success. What is the role the organization has envisioned to take in the near future?

L-Saru's Communication is driven by a team of professionals with extensive industry experience. All of our employees are Google Cloud-certified, irrespective of their domain. We strongly believe that even our Sales team members must have the required technical expertise to be able to pitch well to the clients based on their requirements. So, we have made it mandatory for our employees to get certified before starting and even pay them salary during the certification process.

We are currently having offices in Aurangabad and Pune. As part of our future roadmap, we are working on expanding our operations in Mumbai as well. While our current employee strength is around 10-12, we are also planning to expand our Sales and technical support teams soon.
