That's when Google introduced Google Workspace, a productivity Toolkit or office suite introduced by Google in 2020, that helps organizations to enhance productivity through various tools.

The Rapid growth of Google Workspace has helped boost the demand for Google Workspace partners in the market. A leading Kolkata based Cloud Service Provider, Pixel Informatics started its operation in 2009 as a hardware and Consultancy Service Provider before venturing into the Google Workspace market as a partner around eight years ago. The strategic move turned out to be a milestone in the organization's history, further broadening the firm's service portfolio as a trusted provider of cloud-based solutions.

In an exclusive interview with CIO Insider, Ankur Banerjee, CEO of Pixel Informatics and Pradip Adhikari, Technical Director, sheds light on the inception journey of the firm, its future roadmap, and much more:

Tell us about the inception story of Pixel Informatics. What are the value additions that clients can expect from your offerings?

We are a Kolkata-based IT service provider firm primarily targeting MSMEs and public sector firms. Starting our journey in 2009 with an employee strength of three, we have come a long way with a current strength of around 25. Initially, we offered web hosting services to our customers. Around eight

years back, we partnered with Google and started offering Google Workspace services as a self-partner. This decision helped us position ourselves as a trusted provider of cloud-based solutions. Coming to our core service portfolio, we offer highly customized cloud solutions, including virtual servers, dedicated servers, specific storage configurations, bandwidth, computing power, business email, and so on, based on client requirements at affordable rates.

Pixel Informatics is driven by a leadership team with an extensive combined experience of over 25 years in the IT industry. As previously mentioned, we currently have an employee strength of over 25, including employees from the sales team, support team, and accounts team. The technical team comprises highly qualified professionals with extensive industry experience with specialization in integrating cutting-edge technologies to deliver robust, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.

When it comes to Google Workspace service providers, Google has certain rules in place. Google provides a certification process for the same, where the employees need to apply and complete the certification. Google authorizes us for Sale only after the certifications are completed and submitted. As employee certification is a minimum for providing Google Workspace service support to our customers, we take it pretty seriously. So, we spend a lot of our revenue on their certifications to ensure that our employees are future-ready.

What is the role Pixel Informatics has envisioned to take in the near future? What is the level of impact it strives to bring to the market?

We have partnered with Mumbai-based IV data centers to start our own servers. Starting with 2-3 servers, we currently have over 100 servers in our collocated data center in Mumbai. As part of our future roadmap, we aim to double those server numbers in the next two years. Apart from that, we have also partnered with Digiboxx , an Indian storage service provider firm offering storage solutions, to offer storage solutions to our customers in India. Instead of opting for international storage solutions, such as Box, Google Drive, and so on, we want to provide storage solutions to our customers in India while complying with the Indian data rules.
