Could you tell us about the journey of Primathon from inception to its current position in the market?
Primathon’s journey, founded in 2019 by me and my IIT Delhi co-founders are one of persistence, quality, and strategic evolution. Inspired by giants like Tata and Reliance, we set out to build a boot strapped, profitable organization focused on quality, scalability, and adaptability, which are values that continue to define us. Initially, we explored AI solutions, learning valuable lessons about market readiness and client expectations. We pivoted to web and mobile development, emphasizing timely delivery and impeccable quality.
This approach earned strong client trust, with 97 percent of early business coming from referrals and repeat clients. From a two person team, we’ve grown to 120+ engineers, serving Series A to Series D startups and enterprise clients across India, the U.S., and Europe, with a focus on e-Commerce and fintech. Post-ChatGPT, we upskilled our team to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions, giving us a competitive edge.
Today, we are focused on global expansion, especially in the U.S. and Europe, backed by a strong sales and marketing team. Our commitment to timeliness and quality has made us a trusted partner for businesses seeking AI, web, and mobile solutions.

How are you leading digital transforma- tion through your AI solutions and how have you been instrumental in crafting success stories across domains?
At Primathon, we drive digital trans -formation in e-Commerce, Healthcare, and FinTech with AI-driven solutions. In e-Commerce, our AI-powered product discovery tool simplifies searches, allowing users to interact naturally, such as asking, ‘Recommend phones under ₹25,000 with great battery life and a good camera’, for tailored suggestions. In Healthcare, we developed an AI companion to support individuals dealing with addiction, anxiety, and mental health issues, offering guidance and reassurance to improve well-being. For FinTech, our stock recommendation system provides instant insights through natural language queries like, “Which technology stocks are performing well this week?” Additionally, our proprietary tool, Pullproof.ai, automates code reviews and tracks developer performance, ensuring high-quality software and optimized productivity. These innovations help clients overcome challenges, unlock growth, and stay competitive.
Could you share a case study reflecting the positive outcomes and pain points addressed through any one of your solutions?
As online shopping expands, even traditional sectors are going digital. A leading brand struggled to boost mobile app revenue due to low trust and poor user experience. Customers faced challenges in product discovery, certification access, and lacked the tactile in-store feel, driving them to prefer offline stores.
To bridge these gaps, we plan to introduce AI powered search for easy browsing and AR virtual try-ons for better product visualization. Digital certification previews and real-time chat support will build trust, while personalized recommendations enhance conversions. These AI-driven features can boost engagement, accelerating the shift from offline to
online and transforming the mobile shopping experience.
Furthermore, AI is reshaping product presentation and marketing. AI-generated videos with virtual avatars boost engagement, while background enhancements refine catalogs. Custom voiceovers add a personal touch, and the Ad Baker AI Engine creates high-impact ads efficiently. These innovations make mobile shopping more interactive, trustworthy, and personalized, accelerating the shift from offline to online and driving long-term growth.
How is the team built, and what level of expertise do they bring to the table?
Our team of 120+ professionals includes 100 developers with 3-5 years of experience, while our leadership team averages 9-10 years, with several members having 15+ years in the industry. We have alumni from top institutions like IITs, NITs, and IIITs, ensuring technical excellence. We specialize in AI driven solutions, including AI agents and Retrieval Augmented Generation applications and bring expertise in AI Stack, which includes Langchain, Lang Graph, LangSmith, LlamaIndex, Haystack, ChromaDB, Pinecone, Milvus, AWS Bedrock and custom LLMs. Furthermore, we are also known for frontend development with React, backend with Node.js, Python, and Java, and databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis. Additionally, our mobile expertise covers Android, iOS, React Native, and Flutter.
In five years, we've delivered 150+ projects for 60+ clients. Our team's experience, technical proficiency, and focus on continuous learning make us a leader in software development and AI transformation. What is the next chapter planned for Primathon?
Over the next three to five years, Primathon aims to grow its annual recurring revenue from $3 million to $15-20 million. We plan to achieve this by developing innovative AI solutions that give us a competitive edge and drive growth. Our expansion will include spreading office wings in cities like Bengaluru, Pune, and Jaipur, building on our current presence in Gurgaon and Indore. As we scale, we aim for an IPO, which will mark a key milestone. Furthermore, we are also shifting our focus to the e-Commerce segment and devising tailored solutions specific to the industry.
