BPO is one of the biggest service in the global economy. Where is Thinkonic positioned in the current BPO industry? What is the kind of technology & solution capabilities that you are looking at?
Thinkonic caters to IT Services and one of our core strengths is staff augmentation where our seasoned professionals will be part of the team to meet the needs without the administrative burden of onboarding FTEs. An endless flow of new
requirements can stretch the development team to the max, there by affecting timelines and quality of the projects themselves. Thinkonic helps by keeping projects on track, providing hands on developers, supporting during the project planning phase, reviewing & optimizing architecture to get the most out of the solutions you already have and providing support in load testing, usability testing and security tests.
We are looking at AI, chat bots, mobility and AR solutions. Being a tech company with techie co-founders is always a plus. We have expertise in Microsoft as well as open source technologies. Our clients are using almost all of the major cloud platforms like Azure, Amazon AWS, Heroku and Digital Ocean. Along with web and mobile software development services, we are also providing consultancy in DevOps and managing cloud infrastructure.

Thinkonic = think + sonic/electronic. How do you stay true to this name? What are your unique propositions?
Thinkonic, the name is coined from the word think and sonic/electronic to suggest a team of experts who solve problems at blazing fast speeds and have a thoughtful mind at the same time. We are a part of journey with the
clients, helping them to take right steps at right times. Our specialty lies in helping organizations in building their products or business effectively in a way that supports their overall goals and strategic priorities. We are not like a typical outsourcing company which is focused on account farming, instead we help clients to be self-sufficient. This is very much appreciated by the clients and they stay with us for longer term. Also, we do not tend to take projects just for the sake of getting business. We commit only when we can deliver quality in the given time frame.
Could you share with us a recent, challenging success story of your delivery?
The most challenging task nowadays is to monitor the product and catch errors before customers report it. In one of the recent projects we used streaming analytics along with application insights to generating alarms for admins. We also used analytics platforms like tableau and Amazon Kinesis to show dashboards and real time analytics of logs. It enabled the client to review issues related to network latency, infrastructure, code bugs, performance issues and third-party services errors in a single dashboard.
How has been the growth of Thinkonic during the recent times? What were the strategies adopted in order to survive the pandemic? Also, what’s your future roadmap?
We have always believed in providing solutions with thoughtful mind. We are known not to say ‘yes’ always. If we feel something is not necessary or can be delayed, we don’t shy away from it. During recent times we suggested the client not to invest in newer features rather work towards making the product more robust. This helped clients to reduce costs to a substantial level. We do financial planning for 6 months in advance. This helps us to stay focused on targets and have enough contingency when problem arises. Also, we were cloud ready from day 1 and having infrastructure on cloud means no additional maintenance. We are keenly looking forward to open more work opportunities in IT services sector in Nagpur city, scale up with more resources and better infrastructure by the end of 2021.
