The global cybersecurity market is expected to reach $298.5 billion by 2028, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.4 percent, according to Markets and Markets. This growth is driven by several factors, with the reliance on IT and cloud infra -structure being primary. Companies of all sizes, from large corporations to MSMEs, have extensive IT infrastructures and software that require robust cybersecurity measures to protect their systems. However, many companies face challenges because multiple security solutions are often used within a single system and their effectiveness is not always clear to users.

This is where Wrixte comes in. As a cybersecurity platform, Wrixte monitors all the security solutions operating within a system and provides users with clear visual representations of their effectiveness. CIO INSIDER magazine spoke with Naveen Belgode & Utkarsh Bhargava, Co-founders of Wrixte, to learn more about this innovative platform and how it is enhancing the cybersecurity ecosystem.

Tell us about the inception story of Wrixte and the opportunities in the market that inspired you to start this company.

Several cyber defenses work in the system to safeguard the system and its data. These include antivirus, firewalls,

EDR and several others, the outcome and effective-ness of which are not known to the users. Our flagship product Wrixte SOC (Security Operations Centre) Suite acts as a holistic solution for all kinds of threat hunting and incidental responses required for a system. It can be called a centralized repository for the complete IT infrastructure and software working in the system and provides the user with the effectiveness of each one.

Wrixte’s unique features help clients compress the size of data by 20 times without compromising on any of the analytical capabilities

Today, we can see that many companies are facing these problems and until now there was no centralized platform that could provide 360-degree visibility and monitoring, but our platform has emerged as a game changer in this regard. Through the usage of Wrixte, a user will be able to detect all the loopholes in the cyber security measures and prevent the system in case anyone tries to bypass the firewalls and the security measures. As the business ecosystem is getting more dependent on IT, companies must deploy proper cyber -security measures to prevent any kind of breakdown. It has been close to three years since we introduced our platform to the market and the response has been very inspiring until now.

In what ways do Wrixte solutions add value to client businesses and secure all their IT processes?

In today’s business landscape, IT infrastructure is the backbone of operations, making cybersecurity a critical concern. Organizations rely heavily on their IT systems, and

maintaining comprehensive visibility into their IT infrastructure through log data is essential. This is further emphasized by government regulations that mandate the storage of log data for periods ranging from six months to eight years. Given the substantial volume of log data generated, often around 100 GB regularly, the associated storage costs can be significant.

Wrixte addresses this challenge with its innovative features that compress log data by up to 20 times without compromising search and analytical capabilities. This unique aspect of our platform not only reduces storage requirements but also significantly cuts costs for clients. Moreover, Wrixte’s systems are designed for seamless integration, ensuring they can be implemented effortlessly across various environments. This distinctive capability makes Wrixte exceptional in the market, providing a cost-effective and efficient solution for managing log data while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations.

What are the plans that you have for the future? Where do you see Wrixte in the coming five years?

As far as technicalities are concerned, we are trying to bring the latest technologies like generative AI and automation into our platform. We are in the process of building a Gen AI assistant for our SOC Suite. The user will be able to search for any data or put a query in that assistant and every thing will be on display. We are also working on automating the processes for clients and will hopefully implement these changes in the coming years. On the business side of things, we are planning on acquiring more clients across the country and once we have established ourselves properly in India, we want to cater to the global demand as well. Currently, we are serving clients in India, the U.S., and the Middle East and want to emerge as one of the trusted solution providers in this sector.
